About StageCoach

StageCoach started in the UK in 1987 and quickly grew into the largest network of part-time theatre schools in the world.  In 1997, Simon McAllister, US Founder and Senior Principal, started the first school in the US right here in Minnesota.  Now, there are six schools across the Minneapolis/St. Paul metro area, three located in Chicago, two in New York and one in Vancouver, Canada.

Our mission has remained the same as that of the UK founders, Stephanie Manual and David Sprigg:

"StageCoach is dedicated to providing a quality performing arts education, complimentary to normal academic studies, which in addition to cultivation lasing performance skills, develops self-discipline, confidence, interaction, poise, imaginative thought and other essential life skills."
